Larry Joe Grandon
Larry Joe Grandon, 65, of Prosperity, died Saturday, May 7, 2022 in his home.
He was born April 29, 1958 in Washington, the son of Twila Moore.
Larry was a painter by trade, having worked for Newman’s Painting and Don West Painting & Cleaning.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and working on cars.
Larry is survived by sons, Larry (Sarah) Grandon, of Houston, William (Heather) Grandon, of Washington, John (Courtney) McCloskey III., of Washington, and Clayton Grandon, also of Washington; daughters, Christy (Kris) Martin, of Manassas Va., and Tracy (Mathu) Thomas, of Houston; a brother, David Grandon, of Michigan; sisters, Elizabeth (Thomas) Bane, of Eldersville, Louise Blanco, of Michigan, and Mary Hartzog, of Washington; grandchildren, Julius, Seth, Keeley, Deja, Neveah, Wyatt, Xavier, Harper, Sophia, Emilia and Johnny; his former wife, Rebecca Garber, who was his caregiver in his later years; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Grandon.
Friends will be received from 1 until 4 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, May 12, 2022, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.
