Danny Glenn Pettit, 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, peacefully in his home, surrounded by family.

Danny was the beloved father of Melissa Pettit of Washington; treasured brother of Lelia J. Barnhart, of Richieville, Terry L. (Alyssa) Pettit, of Washington, and the late Charles F. Pettit; loving son of the late Charles F. and Elizabeth R. Huffman Pettit; dear grandfather of Marissa N. Pettit of Washington, and Dylan JL Pettit of Claysville; cherished owner of his beloved yorkie, Odie; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Danny was born August 31, 1951. He attended Trinity High School. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, softball, playing pool, camping and being a dog dad to Odie, Otis, and Oscar.

Danny retired from Blackbox Corp. in 2020 where he worked for 20 years. Prior to that, he worked for WGA until they closed their doors. He was a long time member of the Taylorstown American Legion Post 907, where he also was the bar manager for many years.

Arrangements by All Counties Cremation Services. At his request, all services will be private. There will be a dinner to celebrate his life announced in the coming weeks.
