Nancy Louise Garceau Phillips
Nancy Louise Garceau Phillips, currently of Sanford, Florida, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her husband, William Phillips.
Nancy was born in Washington on February 14, 1956, to parents Louis Charles Garceau and Janis Humbert Garceau.
She attended Washington High School in Washington. After graduation, she moved to Florida for a short period of time to work at Disney World, there she developed a lifelong love of everything Disney.
Upon her marriage, she and her husband, William moved to Weirton, W.Va., where she resided for several years before William’s career took them to Buford, Georgia.
Most recently she lived in Sanford, Florida to be near her brothers, John and James, who survive her, and her sister-in-law, Elaine.
She had a profound belief in God and was a very active member of the Buford Presbyterian Church while residing in Buford.
Her family and her many friends will truly miss her kind heart and generosity.
She will be buried next to her husband, William in West Virginia.
Funeral service will be private with family only. In lieu of flowers, it is requested by the family that donations be made to Advent Hospice, 605 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
