Charles Battista Rupani Sr.
Charles Battista Rupani Sr., 90, of Bulger passed away in his home of natural causes on May 12, 2022.
He was born on June 3, 1931, in Eldersville, son of Armando and Elma Jouret Rupani.
Charles graduated from Burgettstown High School and Kentucky Military Institute.
On February 18, 1950, he married Mildred Dugan, they spent 45 years together before she was laid to rest in 1995. After Mildred’s passing, he married his current wife, Irene Zoglmann, on February 17, 1996.
Charles was the entrepreneur / owner of C&M Coal and C&M Aggregates. He was involved in the steering committee at St. Ann’s, loved farming, traveling, car cruises, dancing, and cruising the open sea.
His smile and laugh was contagious, he always had a wealth of information on local history and common sense. Charles was known for being ‘Mr. Fix It’ to many and being a jack of all trades.
In addition to his parents and first wife; Charles is preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Martin and June Rupani; and a grandson, Rob Walnoha.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Rupani; children, Teresa R. Nagel (Rich), Janice M. Walnoha (Ed), Susan M. Rupani, Charles B. Rupani Jr. (Patricia), Catherine Rupani; and step-children, Paul Zolgmann, Richard Zoglmann, and Margot McGeary; five granddaughters; six grandsons; seven great-granddaughters; and eleven great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Isadore the Farmer Parish, St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 967 Grant Street, Bulger, PA 15019, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. It is asked that everyone attending please meet at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, St. Isadore the Farmer Parish, or a charity of your choosing.
