Christine M. Bednar, 31, of South Park, suddenly on Friday, May 13, 2022. Beloved daughter of David and Margaret “Peggie” Taufer Bednar; loving sister of Jaison M. Bednar (Larissa), Jessie E. Bednar and Jared D. Bednar; granddaughter of Elizabeth “Betty” Taufer; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

My beautiful daughter Christine is finally at peace. Her 15 year struggle with drug addiction and mental illness took its toll on her. She fought with all her might to stay ahead of it, through multiple rehabilitation stays and hospitalizations, to survive life’s hard road. She could not fight her demons any longer and lost her battle of life’s struggles. She had a huge heart and an angelic sole that has risen.

Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (Rt. 88), Library, where a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
