Keith L. Dunker

Keith L. Dunker, 75, of Scenery Hill, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born April 1, 1947 in Brownsville, a son of the late Stanley and Wilma Rohland Dunker.

Keith was a 1965 graduate of Brownsville High School and attended California University.

For 30 years Mr. Dunker worked as a Warehouseman for Fox Grocery, Wetterall, and Supervalu of Belle Vernon, and later worked for the Intermediate Unit in California for 10 years before retiring in 2012.

Mr. Dunker was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

Keith was an avid golfer and belonged to the Lone Pine Country Club and Bentleyville American Legion Post #165.

He was a co-founder of the National Pike Umpires Association. Keith umpired baseball, softball and refereed basketball for many area school and youth leagues.

On August 21, 1976 he married Janice Crumrine Dunker who survives. Also surviving are two sons, James Dunker (Melissa) and Jerrod Dunker, both of Scenery Hill; one sister, Kathy Koval, of Blainesburg; one brother, Kevin Dunker (Debra) of West Brownsville.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of services, Saturday May 28, 2022, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Frank Philpott officiating. Interment will be private.
