Maria Rose Amuso
Maria Rose Amuso, 56, passed away, in her home, Monday, May 9, 2022. Maria was born October 6, 1965, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Hildegard Amuso.
Surviving are a sister, Janet Amuso; and brothers, Michael (Robin) Amuso, and Paul (Maureen) Amuso. She was a loving aunt to Matthew, Aaron, Patrick, Bradley, Nicholas and Mary Clare. Maria is also survived by her aunts, Marguerite Rinaman and Judy Amuso; and many cousins.
Maria was a 1984 graduate of Peters Township High School, and The Sawyer School.
Maria loved her family and relished her role as the nexus of family communication. She enjoyed reading, baking, and all things Pittsburgh. Her direct and forthright nature entertained all who were lucky enough to know her, and made evident her loving and generous spirit.
Friends are welcome from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 3, in Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, in St. John XXIII Parish (St. Benedict the Abbott Church), 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens, 3739 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
