Todd Allen Barnhart
Todd Allen Barnhart, 58, passed away from a heart attack at his Chicago home Saturday evening, May 21, 2022.
Todd is survived by his beloved husband, Scott Alan Neslund of Chicago; his brother, Troy Edward (Lori) Barnhart of Jefferson; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, parents-in-law, nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
Todd was born March 25, 1964, in Washington, a son of Linda Lee and George Edward Barnhart, both deceased.
Todd grew up in Washington, graduated from Trinity High School, Class of 1982, and went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987.
Todd began his career at Discover Card, where he worked in marketing and operations management. He later moved to FICO, where he had a long and successful position as a principal consultant until he retired in 2019.
Todd found his love and life partner, marrying Scott Neslund September 29, 2012, in New York City. Scott and Todd lived in New York and Atlanta before settling in Chicago.
Todd enjoyed traveling the world with his husband, Scott and following his favorite band, “X.” He had a passion for being with friends and family, traveling as often as possible, listening to his favorite music, and anything connected to his Pittsburgh Steelers.
A celebration of Todd’s life will take place Thursday, June 2, in the Union League Club of Chicago, 65 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60604. Friends will be received starting at 5 p.m. CDT, with the memorial service at 6:30 p.m., followed by a reception. All are welcome. The service will be streamed on Facebook Live.
A second memorial service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, in Venue 54, 54 W. Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301. All are welcome.
