Louis Kucera
Louis A. Kucera, 75, of Charleroi died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on October 30, 2022.
He was born February 26, 1947 in Daisytown to the late Louis and Emma Kucera.
Louis was a coal miner at Vesta 5 Mine for 13 years. After it closed, he formed his own company, Kucera Painting & Sons.
He enjoyed being with his family, watching TV, and reading his Bible.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Susan Sarkett Kucera; three sons, Paul (Jennifer) Kucera, Eric (Lisa) Kucera, and Joseph (Valerie) Kucera; six grandchildren, Aaron (Tiffany) Lynch, Maria (Joseph) Feick, Eric David Kucera II, Haley Faith Kucera, Megan Jean Kucera, and Joseph Noah Kucera; one great- granddaughter, Natalie Lynch; his brother, Ronald (Mary) of Blythe, Ga and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Tiernan, and great-grandson, Howard Joseph Feick.
His faith in Christ sustained him all these years to the end.
There will no public visitation.
The family suggests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
