Edith Mae Cooper
Edith Mae Cooper, 92, of Fallowfield Township, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Born on June 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Julia Grilli Donaldson.
Edith is reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 70 years, Gary Cooper, who passed away on September 12, 2022.
Edith was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Coal Center. A member of the Mon Valley AACA (Antique Automotive Club of America), a member of the Western PA Region AACA and a member of The Covered Bridge Region AACA.
Surviving to cherish Edith’s memory are her sons, Dale Cooper and Gordon (Barbara) Cooper, both of Fallowfield; her granddaughters, Jamie (Steve) Renschler and Taylor Cooper; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Emilee Renschler, and another great-granddaughter on the way, Nora Santo, due in February; her step-grandchildren, Ashley (Jay) Keppich, David (Michele) Altemara and Madison Dobas.
In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her twin brothers, Clifford and Clifton Donaldson.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC, 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, PA 15022.
Funeral service will be held inside the funeral home, with Pastor Ken Custer officiating, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Interment will follow at Maple Creek Cemetery.
