Robert Wayne Wheeler Jr.
Robert Wayne “Bobby” Wheeler Jr., 40, of Washington, passed away November 7, 2022.
He was born March 30, 1982, in Washington, the son of Robert Wayne and Pearl R. Prosser Wheeler, of Blaine Township.
Mr. Wheeler was a graduate of McGuffey High School and earned a welding certification from Penn Commercial. He worked as a roofer.
Bobby was a member of the Polish Club, enjoyed deer hunting, tinkering, throwing baseball with Calvin, and fishing with the kids. He loved helping his family and just spending time with them.
On September 30, 2017, Bobby married the love of his life, Katie E. Dicks, who survives.
Also surviving are his loving children, Mackenzie Dicks, Justin Dibble, and Calvin Dibble, all of Washington; sisters, Robin Wheeler, of Blaine Township, Barbara (Rob) McVeigh, of Washington, and Pamela (Ed) Wheeler, of Washington; a brother, William (Ashley) Wheeler, of Washington; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and mother and father-in-law, Linda, and Gary Dicks, of Washington.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Family and friends will gather from 11 to 2 p.m., Friday, November 11, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington; followed by a service at 2 p.m. with Dave Deagel, of Church of Christ, officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at Meadowlands Sportsman Club, 440 Lake Road, West Alexander, PA 15376.
