Beverly Jeanne Osinski, 88, of Annapolis Maryland, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Pasadena, Md., with her devoted children by her side.

She was born July 5, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Albert and Alice Eggerton Smith. Growing up in Pittsburgh, she was a graduate of Taylor Alderdice High School and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. As a registered nurse, Beverly had been employed for many years at Mercy Hospital and various nursing homes in the Canonsburg area prior to her retirement in the early 1990’s.

Beverly was a longtime member of the former St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg. She enjoyed doting on her dogs and cats, traveling to see her children and having them come back home, waiting up for them, until they safely arrived.

Beverly played tennis in high school and remained active in retirement, doing water aerobics, dining out and gardening. Her cake icing was out of this world! She would often send her children, which were the center of her life, clippings and coupons from newspapers. She was a constant source of support and guidance for them, a model of kindness and patience put into practice.

On August 16, 1958, she married her husband of 45 years, Joseph T. Osinski, who passed away April 6, 2004.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Joseph Jr. of Annapolis, Md., Anthony of Atlanta Ga. and Lorraine (Rene Hartl) of Washington DC; and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Beverly was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are her two sisters, Janet and Lorraine.

Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2022, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
