Marcus Alexander Hankins
Marcus Alexander Hankins, 38, of Washington, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born February 27, 1984, in Pittsburgh, a son of Gregory Hankins (Sherry Chandler) and the late Karen Watkins Flemister.
Marcus was a graduate of Penn Commercial and worked as a machinist for Washington Tool & Machine.
A loving man, he was a great father, who loved music, audio books and reptiles. He enjoyed guns, craft beer, and whiskey collecting.
Marcus is survived by his companion of five years, Kristin Devereux, whom he shared a home with.
Also surviving are sons, Mason Adam Hankins, Benjamin David Hankins, and their mother, Melissa Kalich Hankins; stepson, J.J. Neill; stepdaughter, Alaina Neill; siblings, Jason Young, Scott Hankins (Jordan), Adam Hankins, Amanda Hankins, Dayton Hankins, DeKarra Flemister, DeKayla Flemister, and Ken Washington; stepmother, Marci Young; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and many extended family and friends.
Marcus was preceded in death by a son, Alexander Scott Hankins.
Family and friends will gather from 12 to 2 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, September 3, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes. Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, followed by a Celebration of Life at Driscoll Park starting at 3 p.m.
