Pamela Jo Pihakis
Pamela Jo Pihakis, 61, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, September 3, 2022.
She was born June 21, 1961, in Cecil, a daughter of Donald and Eunice Harrington Land.
Pam was a member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg. She was the 1979 Canon McMillan Homecoming Queen. She worked at Sarris Candies. She loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
On July 13, 1986, she married her husband, George Emanuel Pihakis, who survives. Also surviving are her son, Manuel Pihakis, of Pittsburgh; daughter, Dolly (Andrew) Andronas, of Canonsburg; sisters, Mary Jane Broglia, of Canonsburg, Sherri (Dan) Fehl, of McDonald, Terri (Rodney) Seigler, of McDonald, Priscilla (Don) Cook, of McDonald, Ramona Miller, of Cecil; grandchildren, Giuliana Pihakis, Christiana Andronas, and Frankie Andronas; mother and father-in-law Manuel “Buns” (Dolly) Pihakis, of Canonsburg; brother-in-law, Michael Pihakis, of Bridgeville; several nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA, 15317. Trisagion Thursday, 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. Services will be held at 11a.m., followed by burial, in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA, 15317, in Pamela’s name.
