Olga I. Bizet Weaver
Olga I. Bizet Weaver, 88, of Coal Center, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in her home.
She was born August 20, 1934, in Elco, a daughter of the late John Louis and Vera Jones Bizet, in the home of her beloved grandparents, Olga Matheson Jones and Bert Jones of Elco.
Olga was a 1953 graduate of California Area High School.
She moved to Clover Hill after her marriage on September 2, 1953, to Robert W. Weaver, who died February 5, 2017.
She was a member of the Clover Hill Methodist Church since the age of 14. She later became a longtime active member of the Grace United Methodist Church, PPR, Administration Board and the funeral serving committee and served as a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the PA Farm Bureau.
Olga was an animal lover, especially dogs. She loved Fonz and Rocky so much. She also enjoyed ceramics and reading. But her greatest love was her family and friends she loved so dearly.
Surviving are two children, Robyne Ricciuti, of Clover Hill and Robert D. Weaver (Jackie), of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Alyssa Easoz (Zack), Brandi Marshall (L.J.), Travis Weaver (Taylor), Mary McConnell and Megan Breakiron (Dave); 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, E. Duane Bizet (Diana), of Grimesville, N.C.; special niece, Kimberly Bizet and nephews, Shawn Micjan and Duane Bizet.
Deceased in addition to her husband are two brothers, Lloyd Bizet (Cindi), of Monessen and John Bizet.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, with Pastor Ken Custer officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery.
