Robert M. “Mickey” Krency, 92, of Washington, passed away peacefully Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born December 29, 1929, in Coal Run, a son of the late John and Mary Krency.

Mr. Krency was the owner and operator of Krency’s Bakery in the Tylerdale section of Washington for over 50 years.

He enjoyed spending time at his second home in Sarasota, Fla., where he also enjoyed golfing and fishing. In his later and most recent years, Mr. Krency could be found spending time at Krency’s on East Maiden Street, where he enjoyed hanging out with friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His wife, Mary “Pinkey” Krency, preceded him in death.

Surviving are three sons, Douglas (Lana) Krency of Washington, Michael Krency of Washington and David (Karen) Krency of Washington; and three grandchildren, Caroline, Robert and Charlotte Krency. Mr. Krency was the last of his immediate family.
