Leonard J. Ruse
Leonard J. Ruse, 76, of Greensboro, went home with his Lord Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Leonard was born March 1, 1945, in Whitely Township, a son of the late William Joseph and Betty Mae Pyle Ruse.
He served in the United States Army in the 1960s, and worked at the Molnar and Petit Brothers Mines, and for Ed Minders Nursery.
On December 24, 1971, Leonard married Frances Higgins Ruse, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Anita (Dan) Rhodes of West Aliquippa, and Angela (Chris) Goggins of Scottdale; four grandchildren, Rochelle, Rachel and Reyna Rhodes, and K-dyn Goggins; two great-grandchildren, Nova Rhodes and Marieonna Adamson; two brothers, William (Wilma) Ruse and Barry (Missy) Ruse; four sisters, Hazel Hoffman, Christine (Charlie) Wolfe, Shirley (Jim) Higgins and Midge Ammons; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Ruse; and three sisters, Naomi and Dorothy Ruse, and Ella Thomas; and a nephew, William M. Ruse.
Family and friends will be welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of a service, Friday, September 23, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home, Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M. Lesako, owner / supervisor.
