Rick DeMeo

Rick DeMeo, 66, of Canonsburg, devoted follower of Jesus, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born August 15, 1956, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Charles DeMeo and Catherine Gallo DeMeo-Bildhauser.

Known for his deep humility and love for his wife, Denise, and family, Rick enjoyed coaching baseball, being in nature, and serving at church.

He graduated from West Liberty University, where he met his wife.

Rick owned Unique School Sales for 43 years, serving many local school districts.

He is survived by his wife, Denise; children, Jason (Hillary) and Jonathan (Elaine); and grandchildren, Jameson, Eliana and Samuel; his sister, Carol (Richard) Innamorato; and many nieces and nephews.

Rick battled amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for five years, and his body now aids research at the University of Pittsburgh trying to search for a cure for ALS.

There will be a visitation from 3:30 to 5:30 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, in Central Assembly of God Church, Houston, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 5. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray.

Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Shane M. Ayers, director, is entrusted with his arrangements.
