David Richard Bunner
David Richard Bunner, 81, formerly of Washington and Greensburg, died peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
He was born June 29, 1941, in Washington, the son of the late Frederick and Thelma Cahill Bunner.
A graduate of Washington High School, he received a Business Degree from David Lipscomb College, in Nashville, Tenn., and made his career in sales.
David was a member of the Church of Christ, Greensburg, where he was a founding member and served as an elder.
He had an infectious laugh when joking around and loved to make others laugh. He enjoyed golfing, coaching youth sports, camping and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
On September 15, 1962, David married Carol Ann Kutzer, who died March 3, 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Todd David Bunner (Kristina), of Hunker and Brian Baxter Bunner (Nicole), of Eighty Four; brothers: Allan Bunner (Mary Ann), of Washington, Frank Bunner, of Tennessee, Fred Bunner (Wanda), of Norfolk, Va. and James Bunner (Betty), of Mount Juliette, Tenn.; grandchildren: Nicholas, Brennan, Taylor, Briana, Bethany and Aaron Bunner; sister-in-law, Karen Robertson (Dan) of Washington; stepdaughter, Brandi Crissman (Evan) and family; special companion, Eunice “Petie” Slater and her children, Paul, Scott and Ann, and their families; and many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by siblings: Mildred “Toots” Henderson (Edward), Bernard Bunner (Becky) and Louis Bunner, (Rose); mother-in-law, Doris Kutzer (Thomas).

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, the location of the service at 6 p.m. with Dave Deagel officiating.
