Priscilla K. Haley Fini
Priscilla K. Haley Fini, 77, of McDonald, Mt. Pleasant Township, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Bridgeville Health and Rehab Center.
Priscilla was born March 12, 1946, in Midway, a daughter of the late Edward James and Virginia Marie Mitchell Haley.
Mrs. Fini was a retired social worker for Intermediate Unit 1 in Washington County. She was a dedicated social worker, always wanting and willing to help everyone she met. Priscilla even served as the past president of the Pennsylvania School of Social Workers. She enjoyed helping other social workers fulfill the needs of their clients with furthering and improving their education.
Outside of work, Priscilla was a member of St. Alphonsus Church – St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, in McDonald. She enjoyed shopping by herself and with her friends as well. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and getting out of town, and enjoyed her time with family.
There was nothing more important to Priscilla than her family. Her husband and her son were her world. There was nothing she would not have done for the two of them. They were her guys and Priscilla was protective of both of them, always making sure they were treated and cared for the way that they should be.
If you have not gathered by now, Priscilla was all about people. People were her passion. Caring for others was the highest priority in Priscilla’s life. Whether it was her guys or a stranger down the street, Priscilla ensured their needs were met. She was the most kind-hearted and caring woman to ever grace this Earth. Our world is truly a better place because of the compassion that Priscilla showed others.
Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, Del Fini; son, Mitchell Fini; brother, Charles “Chuck” Haley; and nieces, Beth (Jeff) Williams and Tina (Mark) Baldigowski, along with several other nieces and nephews.
