Kelly Ann Gilmartin Young

Kelly Ann Gilmartin Young, 42, of Burgettstown, formerly of Peters Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, April 14, 2023, in her home.

She was born on January 13, 1981 in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of Fred and Ramona Gilmartin of Chatham, Mass.

After graduating from Estero High School in Florida, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida. Kelly worked in Supply Chain Management, most recently for L.B. Foster Co. in Greentree and Seegrid Corp. in Robinson Township.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her longtime companion, Andrew J. Hoffman, with whom she made her home; a brother, Michael Gilmartin and his former wife, Allison; three nieces, Giuliana and Mackenzie Gilmartin and Devon Kitchen; maternal grandmother, Ruth Chase; aunts, Rhonda Clifford, Ricci Trawick, Becky Chase, Rita Chase, Eileen Franklin and Bonnie Gerstley; A.J.’s father, Randal Hoffman and wife, Deb; and several cousins and lifelong friends. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs: Puck, Eden, Otis and Bella.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fred and Mildred Gilmartin; and her maternal grandfather, Fred Chase.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN., 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Additional visitation, services and interment will take place in Chatham, Mass.
