Betty Ruth Horne
Betty Ruth Horne, 94, of Marianna, passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, Saturday, April 22, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Blair Horne.
She was born November 19, 1928 in Wayne, a daughter of the late Frank and Alice Whoolery.
She was the loving mother of Robin (Jim) Hott, Randy, Brian, Brenda and Bradley Horne; cherished grandmother of Samuel Horne, BJ Horne, Shandi (Clyde) Gonsoulin, Taylor (Amy), Brittany and Kaci Hott; and great-grandmother of Samantha Horne, Blaze and Hunter Bourque, Coy Gonsoulin, Johnny, Gabriel and Stevie Ray Horne; great-great- grandmother of Haizlynn Bourque; sister of Joyce (Rick) Faddis, Faye (Jim) Haught and the late Dorothy Bane and James Whoolery; also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Betty loved spending time with her family, as they were the most important thing to her. Any opportunity she could, she spent time with her loved ones. To her, family was everything. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
