Thomas Gregory Swan
Thomas Gregory Swan, 93, of Burgettstown, formerly of Brookline, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 25, 2023, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 9, 1929.
After graduating from Connelly Vocational High School in Pittsburgh, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps February 3, 1948, proudly serving during the Korean Conflict as one of ‘The Chosin Few’ who fought in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir Campaign in November to December 1950.
Mr. Swan retired after a long career from Duquesne Light.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria A. Rodriguez Swan.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Thomas Swan, Jr., Vivian Seibel and husband Bill Seibel, Steven Swan and wife Angie Swan; many grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.
