Warren Fawcett
Warren Fawcett, 70, devoted father, husband, and the man with 9 lives, passed away peacefully Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by his family, in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1953, in Monongahela, to Alvie “Bud” Fawcett and Ruth Fawcett.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Fawcett; son, Robert Fawcett and daughter-in-law-to-be, Stephanie Bronson; a large extended family; and two loyal Min Pins, Kira and Francine.
Being a veteran and a cancer survivor, Warren was a proven strong fighter. He served his country in the Air Force stationed in Germany during 1971-1974.
He was a member of American Legion Post 112 and the Hackett Club.
He loved spending weekends with his family in the summer and fall at their cabin in Meyersdale, where he would enjoy local restaurants, watch old Westerns, and make memories with his loved ones.
He was a loving husband, father, friend and caretaker to everyone he held dear. He is now watching over many family members and friends with love and care.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of services, Tuesday, August 29, in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Private interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
Memorial donations can be made to a veteran charity of the donor’s choice.
