Helen V. Berry
Helen V. Berry, 88, of Washington, died January 30, 2023, in her home.
She was born January 10, 1935, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Carl and Clarice Dillie Jones.
A graduate of Clay Battelle High School, Blacksville, WV, she worked in food service and retired from St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Fla.
Helen was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. She was very strong in her faith and a devoted reader.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Berry, and Michael Berry; a sister, Mary E. “Mick” Kuhn; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda Tilman; six siblings, Earl, Walter, Charles “Chuck” Jones, Peggy Hoge and Carol Harms, Richard “Dick” Jones; and two grandchildren.
At the request of the deceased, all services are private.
