Jo Anne Patress
Jo Anne Patress, 80, of Scenery Hill, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Transitions Healthcare.
She was born February 4, 1942, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Robert and Katrina Oller Muir.
A graduate of Monongahela High School, she was Presbyterian by faith.
Jo Anne had worked as a sales rep for Avon.
She enjoyed bingo and shopping, but she especially loved spending time with family and friends.
On December 7, 1963, she married John “Jack” Michael Patress, who died October 19, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, John (Nancy) Patress and Joe (Julie) Patress; a daughter, Jennifer (Shawn) Turner; two sisters, Linda Bradshaw and Jean Sprowls; and three grandchildren, Jenna Patress, Kaytlin Turner and Shawn (Amy) Turner.
Deceased are a brother, Scotty Muir; and two sisters, Dotty Johnson and Kitty Walker.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be determined.
