Jeffrey L. Weston

Jeffrey L. Weston, 51, of Rostraver Township, and formerly of Greene County, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

He was born August 18, 1971, in Euclid, Ohio, a son of Margaret M. Laskody VanMeter of Bobtown, and the late John S. Weston.

Jeffrey was a 1990 graduate of Mapletown High School and attended the Greene County Career and Technology Center, where he was trained to be a machinist.

In his early years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, water and snow skiing, home construction work and coaching his sons in football.

Jeffrey worked 30 years as a machinist and service technician for Swanson Industries in Morgantown.

On October 3, 2020, he married Laura L. Callaway, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Travis J. Weston (Grace) of Carmichaels, and Tanner E. Weston (fiancee, Prudence Hartley) of Garards Fort; a daughter, Treslee A. Weston of Mount Morris; a stepson, Brett G. Bishop (fiancee, Leticia Aleman) of Rostraver Township; two stepdaughters, Bria M. Bishop of Rostraver Township and Lyssa L. Gazdich (Timothy) of Irwin; a grandchild, Asher J. Weston; four stepgrandchildren, Vincenzo Bishop, Bruno Bishop, Nolan Gazdich and Adeline Gazdich; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Deceased, in addition to his father, is a brother, John P. “J. P.” Weston.

Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023, in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels.
