Paul Snyder
Paul Snyder, 86, of Washington, formerly of Bentleyville and Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, in Southmont Presbyterian Seniorcare, Washington.
He was born July 1, 1939, in Bentleyville, a son of the late William and Frances Twardeck Snyder.
Paul was a 1954 graduate of Bentleyville High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed with American Airlines Fleet Service in Dallas-Ft. Forth for over 30 years.
Mr. Snyder had an entrepreneurial spirit. He enjoyed woodworking, building bird houses, traveling on cruises with his wife and telling jokes. He also had a fondness for Pekinese dogs.
Surviving are: a brother-in-law, William T. Pawluk (Laure), of Carroll Township; a sister, Frances Kish, of Long Island, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are: his wife, Henrietta Snyder, who died April 10, 2020; a sister, Helen Yuhas; a brother, William J. Snyder and an infant brother, Theodore Snyder.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Matt Openbrier officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
