Ann M. Smoke
Ann M. Smoke, 96, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, February 4, 2023.
She was born January 28, 1927, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Stephen and Martha Godish Mandus.
Ms. Smoke was a member of Waterdam Church.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a communications manager for Alcoa Corp.
She enjoyed being with people, and especially enjoyed time spent with her family.
Surviving are her son, G. Clayton (Carol) McCabe of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Kimberly (Brian) Warner, Clayton (Heather) McCabe, Terri Smoke and Tammy Smoke; along with great-grandchildren, Bryson, Chase, Ella and Macy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Smoke; her brothers, Daniel Mandus, Peter Mandus, Mitchell Mandus and George Mandus; and her sisters, Cora Verakis and Mary Springer.
A memorial gathering will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, February 11, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000, with the Rev. Jack Wilson officiating the service.
