John Swarow
John “Turtle” Swarow, 51, of Denbo, passed away Thursday, February, 9, 2023, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
He was born November 1, 1971, in Washington, a son of the late Gary Swarow and Shirley Albert Kovach, of Denbo, who survives.
Mr. Swarow was a 1991 graduate of Beth-Center High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He had been employed at Solomon Ford on Route 40 Brownsville as well as several other jobs and positions.
John enjoyed camping, golfing and hunting, especially for squirrels. He also loved his dogs, Willow, Zoey and Holly.
Surviving are two sons, Evan Swarow of Denbo, and Andrew Swarow of Sweet Water, Tenn.; granddaughter, Delilah Jane Swarow; two brothers, Gary Swarow Jr. (Jonnie) of Washington, and Paul Swarow (Maria) of Centerville; fiancee, Patty Myers of Denbo; stepson, Shawn Gaster of Denbo; good friend, Frank Adkins of Crafton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his father, Gary Swarow; and stepfather Ken Kovach.
