Larry W. Crow
Larry W. Crow, 86, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in Transitions Healthcare, Washington.
He was born December 21, 1936, in Bentleyville, a son of the late Wayne C. and Gertrude Ames Crow.
Larry was a 1954 graduate of Bentleyville High School.
Mr. Crow was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Seabee Veterans of America.
Larry was employed as a well tender for Equitrans Gas and had been retired for over 20 years.
He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Bodies and was proud to have been awarded the 33rd degree. He was Past Master of the former Lodge #237 Beallsville and a current member of Sunset Lodge #237 Free & Accepted Masons of Washington. He was one of the original members of the Shriners Camel Wheels. He was also a member of the Bentleyville American Legion Post #165.
Larry’s hobbies included NASCAR racing, fishing, hunting and football, especially the Steelers. He also enjoyed his two birds, Cody and Scarlet.
Surviving are his former wife, Garnet Barnard Crow; two children, Cheryl Adams (Wayne) of Washington, and Wayne Crow (Denise) of Finleyville; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Puckey (John) of Bentleyville, Angela Koscheck (Jamie) of Washington, Alan Crow (Stephanie) of Pittsburgh, Larry Crow (Kelley) of Russellton, Jeremy Crow (Valerie) of Bentleyville, Halie Magyar (Chris) of Eighty Four, Brandon Crow of Charleroi, Cody Crow of California, Samantha Crow (Mike) of Culpeper, Va., and Leah Crow (James), also of Culpeper; one brother, Fred Crow (Marie) of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Martha Barker of Vista, Calif.; along with 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sons, Grant and Tracy Crow; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Gavin Koscheck; and a brother, Gene Crow.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, in Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 18, with Pastor George Lammay officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery. Masonic services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 7:30 by the Sunset Lodge #237. Military Rites will be accorded graveside by the U.S. Navy and the American Legion Post #165.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospitals.
