Janet C. Horosky
Janet C. Horosky, 81, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, February 16, 2023, in McMurray Hills Manor.
She was born June 26, 1941, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late John and Josephine Zimny Horosky.
Janet was a member of Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Church. She was a graduate of Canonsburg High School, class of 1959, and prior to her retirement, had been employed for many years as a bookkeeper with Ross Mold, in Washington.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Anna M. Cook and her husband, Mark, of Pottsville and Susan J. Horosky, with whom she made her home; her brother, Harry J. Horosky, of Canonsburg; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Buttons.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her brother, the Reverend John C. Horosky and his wife, Matushka Judith Horosky.
Friends and family are welcome from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, in Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Boone Avenue, Canonsburg, followed by Parastas services at 11 a.m. with the Reverend John Joseph Kotalik officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
