Patricia A. Wheeler

Patricia A. Wheeler, 88, of West Alexander, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, in Townview Health and Rehab Center, Canonsburg.

She was born January 28, 1935, in Tarrs, Westmoreland County, a daughter of the late Frank and Grace Stoner Miltz.

Patricia attended Bentworth area schools.

She was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith. She loved playing BINGO, reading and trips to the casino.

On February 15, 1958, she married Robert A. Wheeler, who died March 16, 1997.

Surviving are three sons, Robert W. (Shana) Wheeler of Texas, Francis “Gary” Wheeler of Rhode Island, and Dennis L. (Bonnie) Wheeler of West Alexander; a daughter, Christine D. (Jim) Wright of Washington; a brother, Douglas F. (Dave Dessin) Miltz of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Nancy Canino of Greensburg, and Deborah (Ed) Ginther of Bentleyville; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Donna Kooser and Robin Mitchner.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 23, in the Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 24, with Pastor Bruce Graff officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
