Kathleen “Kathy” Hill, 66, of Scenery Hill, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, in her home.

She was born December 24, 1956, in Washington, a daughter of the late Glen and Edna Mae Burnsworth Hanning.

Kathy attended McGuffey High School, where she later became employed as a custodian. She also worked as an aide in several nursing homes and was the bartender/manager at the Bentleyville Tavern.

Mrs. Hill was a member of Bentleyville United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family, reading, camping and gardening.

On June 25, 1999, she married David Hill, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Edwin Neff (Michelle) of Cokeburg, and Andrew Neff (Noma) of Prosperity; five grandchildren, Ashley Kerik, Courtney Gregg (C.J.), Alaina, Leanna and Adilyn Neff; two sisters, Diane Kelley and Jackie Halloway; two brothers, Frank and Roger Hanning; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Glenn, Randy and Terry Hanning.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 27, in Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28. Interment will be private.
