David Lesneski

David Lesneski, 64, of McDonald, died Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh.

He was born September 26, 1958, in Mt. Lebanon; a son of the late Frank and Betty Jean “Dolly” Garcia Lesneski.

Dave was a 1977 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and worked for himself as an independent truck driver.

He liked keeping his Freightliner truck in top shape. He was a man of many trades, handy with plumbing, wiring, carpentry, remodeling, construction and a host of other things.

On June 17, 1978, he married JoEllyn Lamb, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Dawn Lyn (Dale) Kreuer, of South Fayette and Jennifer (Chad Davis) Fisher, of Burgettstown; a son, Michael (Katrina) Lesneski, of Washington; a sister, Lynn (Warren) Clark, of McDonald; a brother, Brian Lesneski, of Weirton, W.Va.; and three grandsons, Joey and Danny Kreuer, and Mason Fisher.

Deceased are a son, David Lesneski, Jr., who died April of 2020; a brother, Frank Lesneski, Jr.; and two sisters, Marion Lesneski and Helene Cooper.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, with Pastor Cynthia Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
