William Joseph Blair
William Joseph Blair, 74, of Waynesburg, died at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at home.
He was born Monday, August 9, 1948, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Joseph Blair, Jr. and Ruth L. Hull Blair.
Mr. Blair was a member of the First Christian Church in Waynesburg. He was also a member of the Waynesburg Sportsman Club and enjoyed shooting at a shooting range.
He worked for 28 years for the Greene County Job Center, Department of Labor, in maintenance, retiring January 22, 1999.
Surviving is one brother, John R. “Jack” Blair and his wife, Emily Kay, of Bradenton, Fla.; one niece, Margaret Rainy “Peggy” Butler and her husband, Michael, of Waynesburg; one nephew, Joseph Andrew Blair of Waynesburg; one great-nephew, Zachary J. Butler.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of the service, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner / Director, 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with Pastor Scott Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Greene Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg.
