James O. Campbell
James O. “Jim” Campbell, 77, of Bulger, passed Sunday evening, January 1, 2023, at Premier Washington Health Center.
Born April 2, 1945, in Sewickley, he was a son of the late Carl E. and Mary E. Glass Campbell.
Jim graduated from Fort Cherry High School in 1963, went on to auctioneer school where he received his license.
He established the Campbell farm in 1968 where he farmed his entire life, being an exceptional farmer and mechanic. He took pride in what he did. He spent many seasons in Hay Market Virginia operating combines and various equipment for many years.
He loved to square dance and polka dance especially loving polka music.
On September 7, 1963, he married Donna Yorns Campbell, who passed away on February 27, 2012.
Father of Brian (Erin Denny) Campbell, Paul and Lisa Campbell, Lynn Ann and Douglas “Homer” Seibel and Jody and Wayne Hartle. Grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of one.
Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30 Clinton, PA 15026, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, where his service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday. Pastor Pat Schaefer, of the Robinson Presbyterian Church, will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Robinson Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
