Leroy K. Thomas Jr.
Leroy K. Thomas Jr., 69, of Washington, passed unexpectedly Friday, December 30, 2022.
Leroy “Junie” was born August 3, 1953, a beloved son of the late Leroy K. and Vivienne Thomas.
Junie is survived by his loving daughter, Brittany (James) Thomas. He was the dear grandfather of Taleya; dherished brother of Beverly (Larry), Velma Dates (Albert), Linda Thomas, and the late Betty Jo Thomas and Adrienne Miller. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He had a very strong bond with his nephew, Darrell. He will be truly missed by his friend, Brad Gordon; his dog, Duchess; and his extended family and friends.
He worked many years at Columbia Gas Company and was a Navy veteran from May of 1977 through October of 1979. Ever since he was younger, he had a passion for playing baseball and was an avid Steelers fan.
