Shirley R. McLaughlin Mastnock
Shirley R. McLaughlin Mastnock, 87, of Washington, died Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Donnell House.
She was born June 6, 1935, in Uniontown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lawrence and Myrl Lemaster McLaughlin.
Shirley grew up on a farm in Green County and went to school near Cameron, W.Va.
A graduate of Richhill Township High School, she attended Penn Commercial and worked at local glass plants. She worked for Hazel Atlas, Continental Can Plant 11, and Brockway Glass Plant 7.
On December 5, 1975, Shirley married Jack L. Mastnock. They moved to DuBois, where she worked for Brockway Glass. Retiring in 1998, they moved back to Washington.
Shirley loved flowers, gardening, and animals. She enjoyed country music, going to shows, bus trips with her husband Jack, and trips to Florida.
In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by a niece, Rhonda Shough, a nephew, John (Jamie) McLaughlin, and a great niece, Kayla Shough.
