Harold W. Caesber
Harold W. Caesber, 90, of Washington, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, in his home, with his family at his side. He was born June 26, 1932, in Thomas, a son of the late Harvey and Ethel Withrow Caesber.
Mr. Caesber was a graduate of Trinity High School and earned an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Penn Commercial.
He then served in the United States Army for two years before being honorably discharged.
Mr. Caesber was a long-time member of the Church of the Covenant.
He was employed at Jessop Steel as an accountant for 43 years from where he retired.
Mr. Caesber loved spending time with his grandson, Evan, whom he adored. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
On December 9, 1955, he married Margaret J. “Peg” Scott, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Douglas A. (Tammy) Caesber of Washington; and a grandson, Evan Caesber.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Caesber was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Emmett Caesber.
