Wayne Preaux
On Thursday, January 19, 2023, after a short battle with cancer, Wayne Preaux, of Washington, formerly of Cecil, went to join his brother, George Preaux, and his parents, George Peter Preaux and Margaret Jane Broutin Preaux on the other side.
He leaves behind a daughter, Ashlyn Brierre Preaux; a son-in-law, Kyle Hunt; three grandchildren, Lucille, KJ and Eleanor Diana Hunt, all of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Shannon (David) Davis-Fitzgibbons, of West Mifflin; two brothers, Jerry (Linda) Preaux and Mark Preaux, both of Cecil; as well as lots of nieces and nephews.
Wayne enjoyed playing softball for the Cecil American Legion, was an avid Penguins fan, and loved going camping with his three brothers and their families.
There will be no public viewing. Friends and family will gather later to celebrate his life.
