Carolyn J. Heagy
Carolyn J. “Jeanie” Heagy, 84, of McMurray, formerly of Bridgeville, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, Sunday, January 22, 2023.
Born September 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Edith King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles R. Heagy; son, Charles R. Heagy; and her four siblings.
She is survived by her children, Deborah (Thomas) Shearer and Timothy “Tim” Heagy; grandchildren, Shelby Warnick and Mackenzie Warnick; along with many nieces and nephews.
Jeanie loved birds and wildlife. She had an insatiable need to take care of others and touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 26, in Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 27. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.
