Ethel Mae Pomykala
Ethel Mae Pomykala, 84, of St. John, Ind., formerly of Washington, went to eternal rest Wednesday, January 18, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born January 1, 1939.
Ethel is survived by her devoted son, Terry (Susan) Florida; loving daughter, Norma (Scott) Crothers; grandchildren, Tara Florida, Matthew Florida, Ryan Florida, William (Jessica) Marquez, Shawn Williams, Ashley (Jason) Ryan, Brianna and Xaiver Florida; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Myrtle Conrad, Mary Jenkins; special people, Elizabeth Puck, Mikey; and nieces, Emma and Faye.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, George Pomykala; son, Sidney Florida; parents, Emma and Francis Temple; brothers, Gene and William Temple.
“Grams” as she was called by many, will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Her family was always her first priority her entire life. She enjoyed cooking for family, especially her spaghetti, vegetable soup, and breakfast gravy.
She loved and missed her hometown in Pennsylvania, and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Shorty’s and playing Bingo.
Ethel will be at rest by her family in Garards Fort Cemetery, Garards Fort. Memorial services will be held privately.
