Jason Robert Pigford
Jason Robert Pigford, 43, of Tionesta Township, formerly of Cecil, died Monday, January 23, 2023, in his home.
He was born August 26, 1979, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late James Pigford III, and Catherine Thomas Pigford, who survives.
He was a roofer by trade, and enjoyed hiking and kayaking. He was proud to have kayaked from Kinzua to President in Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his mother, Cathy of Cecil; a brother, James (Robyn) Pigford of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Pigford III; paternal grandparents, Jim and Jane Pigford; and maternal grandparents, John and Norma Thomas.
A private service and interment was held at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations, in his memory, to the Cecil Township Historical Society, P.O. Box 48, Cecil, PA 15321.
