Thomas Merriel Brown Sr., 64, of Hendersonville, died Thursday, June 29, 2023 in his home.

He was born February 20, 1959 in Washington, a son of the late Clifford and Alice Workman Brown, Jr.

He was a graduate of South Fayette High School, a retired Machinist at Minnotte Corporation, Pittsburgh. He was a member of Shopsmen Local 527. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, watching all Pittsburgh Sports, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are wife Janice Brown, of Hendersonville; daughter, Elyse (Matthew) McEwen, of Canonsburg; sons, Thomas ‘TJ’ (Megan) Brown, Jr. of Hopewell, Logan (Brooke) Brown of Scott Twp.; grandchildren, Lochlan, Saige, Hazel, and Shepherd McEwen; and Troy and Claira Brown; brother, Clifford (Eva) Brown; sister, Lorie Brown both of Prosperity, SC; brother, Robert (Patsy) Brown of Canonsburg, many nieces and nephews, and his dog, Kinley.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 2, at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 3. with Pastor David Perry Officiating.

Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
