David J. Silbaugh
David J. Silbaugh, 87, of Aliquippa, died Thursday, June 29, 2023.
He was born July 28, 1935, in Jefferson, a son of the late Alvin Ambrose “Pete” Silbaugh and Florence Conn Silbaugh.
Dave served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He worked at J & L Steel in Aliquippa as a steelworker/millwright. After retirement he worked as a baker at a local bakery.
Dave was a life member of the American Legion Post #580 Monaca and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8805, Hopewell Township, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
On May 3, 1965, he married Betty L. Greenlee, who died August 9, 2014.
Surviving are two brothers, Bill (Carol) Silbaugh of Mather, and Alvin “Booner” Silbaugh Jr. of Ohio.
Deceased are nine siblings, John “Jack”, Robert, Forrest, Barry, Ronald, Thomas, Janet, Ida and Louella.
Friends will be received from 12 noon to 2 p.m., the hour of a blessing service, Wednesday, July 5, in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with Fr. J. Francis Frazer officiating. Interment in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
