Margaret C. Mucheck
Margaret C. “Marge” Mucheck, 87, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
She was born in Wheeling, W.Va., January 3, 1936, a daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret Hannon Carroll.
Marge was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers in Canonsburg. She would spend her time volunteering with several nonprofit organizations, including Canonsburg Hospital and Meals on Wheels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Mucheck; a brother, Bud Carroll; and a son-in-law, Alan Dobbs.
Marge is survived by her four daughters, Judith Mucheck of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Kimberlee Dobbs of Sacramento, Calif., Adriane (Harold) Cox of Rapid City, S.D., and Kristen Mucheck of Boston, Mass.; along with five grandchildren, Jessica, Wanbli, Emily, DJ and Hunter; one great- granddaughter, Savannah; and brother, Jim (Rose Marie) Carroll of Wheeling.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 14, in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, W.Va. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
