Delores Ann Davis
Delores Ann Davis, 62, of Washington, departed this life Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Washington Hospital.
She was born September 29, 1960, in Washington, a daughter of Betty Zebie Gipson, and the late Martin Willis Sr.
Delores was a 1978 graduate of Beth-Center High School. After high school she continued her schooling to become a registered Certified Nursing Assistant.
She loved her family with every fiber of her being. She is survived by her children, Demitrius (Carrie) Davis, Ulysses (Danielle) Davis and Edwena (Justin) Whipkey; her grandchildren, Diari, Cyerabela, Ulysses Jr., Drake, Jada, DeSean, Mia, Ava; and great-grandchild, Za’Kai.
She is also survived by her sister, Ava (Eric) Smith; and brothers, Kevin (Sandra) Willis, Martin Willis Jr., Hosea (Michelle) Willis, Aaron (Melinda) Gipson, and her sister from another mother and best friend, Regina Brown; and a host of other family and friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her father, Martin Willis Sr.; and brother, Kenneth Willis.
Friends and family are welcome from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, July 21, in Friendship Baptist Church, 17 E. Walnut Street, Washington. Services will immediately follow.
