Beverly D. Arthur Storrick
Beverly D. Arthur Storrick, 94, of Peters Township, passed away peacefully Friday, July 21, 2023, in her home.
On September 29, 1951, Beverly married the love of her life, Robert W. “Bob” Storrick, Jr., who passed April 10, 2014.
She was the loving mother of Gary D. Storrick of Poca, W.Va., Diane J. Storrick (Jeffrey Graham) of Export, Janet L. (Craig) Bauer of Export, and Wendy L. (James) Mermigos of Jeannette; cherished grandmother of: Robert, Audrey and Steven Antolovich, Nathan (Sarah), Kevin (Hannah Edelmann), Jason (Caitlin) and Carson Bauer; and Jessica, Stacey, and Mara Mermigos; proud great-grandmother of Jackson Bauer and Milena Bauer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clifford and Freda Lauretta Detling Arthur.
Beverly worked as a secretary in pathology at Washington Hospital from 1947-1956 then as an inside sales representative with McGraw-Edison/Cooper Industries from 1976-1989.
She served several years in The Girl Scouts of America in various capacities including troop leader, and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society in Washington.
Beverly was a member of Peters Creek Presbyterian Church, Venetia. She was also a member of the Martha V. Paul Chapter 404, Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.
Beverly’s interests were diverse, from tending to their small farm filled with horses, cattle, dogs, cats, geese, ducks and even raccoons, to sewing, camping and her many travels across the country and internationally.
Beverly’s greatest passion in life was her family – to watch her children and grandchildren grow, and to be surrounded by the loving family she raised with Bob.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beinhauer’s (724-941-3211). Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 24, at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, July 25. Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
