Deborah A. Gump

Deborah A. Gump, 70, of Washington, died Friday, July 28, 2023, in her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born June 13, 1953, in Washington.

She attended Trinity Schools and went on to work in packaging at All-Clad. She then became the owner of “Deborah Gump Stained Glass” and produced hand-made stained glass lamps, signs and windows, including the window of the Union Grill in Washington.

She enjoyed gardening, swimming, she was a reiki practitioner and loved teaching people how to work with stained glass in her studio in Canton Township.

On April 8, 1972, she married Raymond E. “Ed” Gump, who died February 9, 2017.

Surviving are a daughter, Grace (Bob) Reihner of Washington; two sisters, Doris Bredniack and Rosemarie (Ray) Noble, both of Washington; four grandchildren, Desiree (Todd) Toland, Julia Quarture, Dominic (Allison Bamberry) Quarture, Jr., and Anthony Quarture; five great-grandchildren, Summer, Todd, Tanner and Delilah Toland and Harrison Davies; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two daughters, Rachel Marie Gump and Jenny Fay Gump.

All services will be private.
